Become a Stephen Minister

Preparation to become a Stephen Minister begins with training in Christian caring skills led by Pastor Barry and our Stephen Leader team.  The training will include a variety of topics such as listening, Christian assertiveness, maintaining boundaries in care-giving and grief.  The instruction is distinctively Christian and focuses on God as the one who cures as we care.  When Stephen Ministers have completed their training they will be commissioned as “Stephen Ministers” and ready to begin their ministry.

Stephen Minister Application - You may submit your Application for becoming a Stephen Minister at any time but our next class will not be until next fall/winter. If you have any questions regarding the next class, please contact the church office.
