Through prayer, we deepen our intimacy with God, we hear His voice, we encounter His Presence, we increase our dependence.
At Coast Hills, we believe in the power of prayer to bring hope, freedom, breakthrough and peace. There are several opportunities to receive prayer and to participate in praying for our community.
Community Prayer Team
The Community Prayer Team is a group of people who, through email, receive a list of the prayer requests that come in weekly, to pray for them throughout the week. If you would like us to pray for you, or would like to participate in praying for the needs in our community, please send a request to:
Every Sunday at 8:00AM we gather at the front of the stage to pray for the morning services. We ask the Lord to speak, to move, and to reveal His heart for His people. We pray together and pray over the room, the teacher and the worship team interceding for all that God would do in this place. Everyone is welcome to join in this time.
Response Prayer Team
Our Response Prayer Team is a group of people scheduled to pray over people during or after services and special events. The first step in the process of being part of the Response Prayer Team, is the completion of the Prayer Training class. If you are interested in being a part of the Response Prayer Team, contact us at:
These classes are designed to equip our congregation to pray powerfully by deepening our Biblical understanding of prayer with very practical teaching and prayer practice. Topics discussed include: Our connection with God; the Holy Spirit; listening and how to recognize when God is speaking; discernment; intercession; and how to pray for others.
