Meet Marcie.
Marcie is a passionate, fun-loving momma bear to the core. Growing up, Marcie knew the Lord from a young age, thanks to the example of her committed, servant-hearted parents. Because of them, she says it was natural for her to serve in the church all her life, beginning in the 6th grade. This makes sense when you learn that she has served the youth of Coast Hills for the past 20 years!
Second only to Jesus, Marcie LOVES her family. Her husband, Chris, passed away in 2021 after 31 years of marriage. They are blessed with two children, Christopher and Faith, and one grandchild, Caleb. Chris Dyer was a faithful man of God, a friend to everyone he met, and a beloved member of Coast Hills. You could often see him working behind the scenes with tech and production on Sunday mornings (or in the afternoon, watching the Texas Rangers!)
Marcie says that the hardest years of her life have proved the be the biggest blessing in her relationship with God, and have further transformed her heart to love on and lead students.
