What Do Doers Do?

"Doers" are not deceived, have a focused gaze, listen in order to act, are motivated by love, and—James clarifies—can control their mouth. Being able to control how we speak is evidence that we are not those who just hear God's Word and forget it, but intentionally apply it and are transformed from the inside out.
